How to change scan settings in Dentrix for better performance.

These settings can be adjusted for quality. To keep in mind. The higher the quality the longer it will take to scan. Most documents that need to be scanned are typically black and white. Without needing a higher scan resolution documents can be scanned and transferred more quickly. Keep in mind these can be changed per TSScan.

• Go to Doc Center in Dentrix 
• You will then need to select  1.Scan icon and then select 2.TSScan.

• Uncheck the option Scanner UI

• Under Scan Engine. Select V2.5. This sometimes needed to be adjusted back to V3.0. See what version works best for you.

• Select the Resolution drop down. Between 72-96 was the best setting for not losing quality over performance.

• Once you select the Scan option you should see a noticeable difference. Please contact Helpdesk if you have any trouble or questions.
