The first part here will guide you through the camera privacy settings. 

The second will make sure you have it plugged in correctly.

Third will be making sure you are selecting the right part of Dexis to use the cameras. 

 

How to turn on Camera privacy settings. 

This is usually for intra oral web cams that needs permission access on behalf of Windows 10. 

 

First, we will need to get into settings. 

 

1. Press the start button. (bottom left)
2. Select the cogwheel for settings

You will be presented with the Windows Settings window

 

1. In the search type Camera
2. Select Camera privacy settings

 

• Select the Change button

 

• Switch the option to On.

 

Test and see if it works. No reboot necessary. 

 

 

 

Making sure the camera is properly connected.

• Make sure you are connected to a BLUE USB 3.0 ports
• We recommend to use authorized USB hubs for the camera USB connection. 
• Make sure the USB connection is not loose. If it is you will want to use an alternative USB port.
