Troubleshooting the new Dexis sensors.

  1. Make sure the sensor is plugged into a port that has a lightning symbol. The older USB ports won’t work.

  1.  If you have USB hubs - use those. If you don’t have any let me know and I can order them and send them out (just let me know how many)

The USB hubs do have its own power adapter. Make sure that is plugged in.

  1. The sensor must be calibrated if it’s never been plugged in before. This is the longest part. However, once its calibrated it won’t need another calibration.

  1. Make sure the drivers are up to date. Please check our guide on how to check the drivers are up to date. This can be found on our KB site in the ticketing portal. https://kidsdentalbrands.happyfox.com/

  1.  Make sure you are using the USB extender that came with the Dexis sensor. If you have an existing extender cable it won’t work.

  1. If everything is working properly. You will see a green light on the sensor itself. This is now in a functioning state and ready to expose.
